HR2510 MRF455 Mod

Im going to mod my old 2510 with an MRF455. Using the data supplied on rodgerbrds site. Has anyone performed this mod? Results? Is it worth it? can the 455 be substituted with another ? just curious

a 1446 is very close to the 455 and can take more input drive . sounds like a good mod noisy .
