Dx 1600x needle only goes to 3 when I talk on my Stryker 447hpc

Used to run a TS 500 it didn't push it very hard either. I want to peg needle on linear. How do I get it done. Do have a alpach one pill on shelf. I'm driving a 03 w900L. Dead key 1.5 watt swing 30 to 50 watt. Could I use that alpach to drive dx 1600

i wouldn't push the DX1600 past 1600 watts . the difference between 1600 watts and 3200 watts is trivial and contact success will only be noticed on rare occasions .... then there's bleed-over/splatter and over-modulation to deal with not to mention shortening the life of the amp . if you want more power get a bigger amp , and most likely alternators and batteries too .
