New Uniden 890 SSB radio

Got a bunch of radios but this one caught my attention.

Looking for info to unlock the clarifier, open up the audio a bit, nothing crazy. Don't care about channels but if there is a mod that would be cool too. Don't need monster audio as I'm more into SSB anyway.

It's a very new radio so I don't expect there to be a lot of info yet.

Basically I like that it's a smaller radio w/ ssb and it looks interesting.

I've been hearing about the forum figured I check it out.

Looking to pull the trigger on one, I guess I'll have a new toy to play with when I get home next month.
I'm sure someone will post info on it before I get back, but if not I'll post some feed back.

Ya'll ill hear me when I get back. Looking to mount it on the dash in the Jetta.

I looked that radio up at Bellscb and they don't seem to have much in the way of mods for it yet.

I've looked around in the usual places for mods but figured where were more eyes here and someone saw something around I didn't.

Seems the most common complaint so far is the beep anytime you press a button or spin the channel nob. That will get old fast I should imagine. Hopefully the beep comes from a piezo electric buzzer and not through the actual speaker. Clip a wire or something.

Some things are just too new...

It's SMT so it will probably take some time for the mods to start trickling out
