Galaxy DX 919

Nickybots 110 just finished tuning my 919. 12 watts bird and 40 pep! Screaming audio, turbo echo and a custom keyup by AWOL noise toys. Big thanks to 631 for the keyup and nickybots for the tune. That radio should smack the piss out of the 5 pill I'm getting...

Nice! That's awesome. So when are you going to hit me up on skip?? Lol! Nice radio 619. I'm thinking about finding a used 959 to have Tallman work his magic on. I really want a magnum s-9, too muck $$ for me. I have a stick 29 corba limited lxle that is a great sounding radio, but I want a tuned 959 to run with my 2 pill amp. Big up's on your rig.

Thanks man! I love the 959 to be perfectly honest. That is hands down my fav radio. I have had every thing from a Uniden 68 to S6 to a Cobra 200 and everything in between. The 959s have a lot of features, are easy to mod, sound great, and just perform really well. I picked this 919 up real cheap and sent it to Nickybots, and well, you see what I'm getting! Once the Yukon comes home, the 919 will have it's place in the truck, to be followed by a 5 pill...heh heh heh...there goes the neighborhood, or at least the start of it

That's a BIG 10-4!! The 959's are PIMPTASTIC!! My dad runs one, but he lives in Kentucky and with me being in Texas I haven't personally heard it, but knowing him it hammers.

I have done pretty much all of these mods except for the super ears mod..that's fucking stupid, and a great way to blow the front end out of your radio. all of these work really well, and make that radio kick ass...and I reccommend the NPC mod also. Nickybots can really rip in to a 959. and his fees are quite reasonable. for $100 he tuned my radio, installed a keyup and an echoboard. And that included the price of the echo board. The keyup came from AWOL Noise Toys. It is RF proof to 50kw!
